I moved to Colorado in 1999 and instantly fell in love with the blue skies, mountain views and ever changing weather. As a young adult I was always driving neighborhoods and popping into model homes which caught the attention of friends and family who started asking the question- “Why aren’t you in real estate?” Taking their cue I received my licensed in 2004.
As the real estate bubble burst, helping sellers with Short Sales and investor buyers find rentals and fix and flips became a key component in my everyday business. Getting my SFR (Short Foreclosure Resource) designation helped me maneuver the challenging downturn. I felt my personal mission was to help unloved and forgotten homes find a new owner.
Not one to stand on the sidelines I have rarely seen a home I don't like, and have moved extensively around the Denver Metro Area. Having lived in Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Brighton, Thornton and Westminster, I've tried everything from condos to townhomes and houses from the 1950’s to newly built. Having lived in and fixed up my share of foreclosures and short sales, I feel my enjoyment of renovation is more a passionate hobby than a money making endeavor. And those parts of town I haven't lived? I've worked with buyers and sellers across the Denver Metro Area giving me experience with Aurora, Centennial, Parker, Castle Rock and Littleton too.
Now with the Denver Real Estate market is booming and property values are soaring the new challenges is helping buyers find creative ways to get their offers accepted and Sellers getting the best price and terms. For this I've received my MCNE (Master Certified Negotiations Expert) designation. Striving to stay in front of the pack through continuing education, I understands that the real estate market never stands still and much like Denver’s weather, it’s only a matter of time before things change again.
