What attracted you to real estate?
I have always been madly in love with design and architecture. I previously was working as an interior designer and didn’t find it to be the right fit, whereas being a Realtor has really been everything I would ever want. I love the flexibility, I love working with people and I love exploring all of the amazing homes that Denver has to offer.
You probably wear a lot of different hats. What are they?
Well I would say I do indeed wear a lot of hats, most of which are black, haha. I am a Realtor, a therapist, a friend, a daughter, a girlfriend, a madwoman, a workout maniac, a french-bulldog lover, an empath, a travel enthusiast, an emotional small human, and a work addict.
What has been your strongest area of growth?
The last year has been a really beautiful season of growth for me in all areas of life which of course reflects into my career. I have learned how to say “no” more over the last year in terms of where my energy is allocated, and saying “no” to spending time with people that drain me. I have learned to say no to attending random events that don’t support my business, and man, it really helps me to not get burnt out!!
Any tips for first time buyers or sellers?
Interview your Realtor. learn about their track record, what their experience is and ensure that you feel comfortable with them guiding you through the process of buying or selling. Once you feel comfortable with your agent then trust their recommendations when it comes to which lenders to use and the best way to approach finding your dream home.
If you could live in any TV home, which one would it be?
The house from Ironman on the coast of Malibu 🙂
What’s your dream vacation house?
I would love to own a modern glass house on a beach that is easily accessible.
Favorite house that you’ve sold this year?
I just sold the most beautiful home I have ever seen to some of my dearest family friends. Located in the heart of Park Hill this home is immaculate down to every detail. Built in the early 1900’s but fully remodeled in 2016 this was a home that dreams are made of. I can’t wait to watch my friends raise their children here and if you are looking for design inspiration, Google 4151 Montview Blvd. 🙂
Would you ever want to live in a castle?
Absolutely. I would loveeeeee to live in a castle (however I would not want to have to upkeep the castle haha). Growing up I thought Count Dracula was fascinating and the idea of living in a lovely Gothic castle for a period of time would for sure be fulfilling some childhood dreams.
